I am a relatively "new knitter" - about two years now,... striving to live a life centered on God's will for me as a wife, mother, and homemaker. I'm blessed with a dear hubby and three kids- and I can't believe it took me 40-some-odd years to figure out I LOVE TO KNIT!!!

Very pretty....you'll be so glad you frogged!
Pretty!! You'll love it - I knit one a few months ago and now it's my 'everyday' scarf-shawl :o) I love the color you chose!
I also love your cover-up idea for the increases on Green Gable - ingenious!
You're making envious about this knit. I checked out the pattern on Scarf Style and now have to add it to my already-too-long queue. It's a beautiful shawl, and I'm sure yours will be just as.
It is looking gorgeous! I love the color. May I ask what yarn it is since it has me salivating?
Can't wait to see the finished project.
Bonnie - the yarn is the KnitPicks dye-your-own Bare yarn in laceweight. My daughter dyed it and it was supposed to be dark, jewel tones - testing out some cheap-o JoAnn's fabric dye - but the color all washed out when she rinsed it. I fell in love with the soft colors and took it off her hands!
That's beautiful!
I hate to bust out a Christian cliche... but.... "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men"- Col. 3:23.
I don't particularly like this one as it relates to knitting errors. I'm prone to pluggin on....
Aha! Lookin' good Lynda! That's a great shawl pattern too, I can't wait to see it all finished up. Go Lynda go!
Oh, my, look at all those stitch markers. Good luck! It's going to be beautiful!
It is looking so beautiful already! Way to go!
Simply Stunning. Those are my only words. Simply Stunning.
Lookin GREAT!!!
Good for you! You won't regret it.
So you frogged and restarted the caston?? Did I miss that somewhere?
I love the heathery color that it came out with. I've got some of that laceweight in my stash. Hmm.... wonder if it could become this shawl? HHhhhhhmmmmmmm......
Good for you!
