Please lift up prayers for Jeanie and her family today, thank the Lord for your many blessings, and hug your kids.

Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and he will strengthen thine heart.
Ps 27:14

Oh dear. These things are every parents' worst nightmare, and fear.

We just lost our next door neighbor at age 51 to a brain tumor, and I keep putting myself in his widow's place...I don't know how she'll keep it together, except that she has her adult children.

Blessings to those involved...

When I was in high school, I lost one of my friends in a car accident. A few years after high school, one of my other friends died in a avalanche.
Its so hard when someone so young dies.

How heartbreaking it is when a child dies. It reminds us all to hug ours closer.

How awful. I've been there before, and it's a painful place to be. I'll be praying for them.

The week before my high school graduation a friend of mine all of my life rolled his car on his way to see his fiancee. The year before a dear friend lost his battle with leukemia. Life is a fragile thing. I still think often of Guy and Kirk, they are forever 18 and 17.
